1961 Morris Minor 1000 Series 111 4 Door.
Designed by the legendary Alec Issigonis ( Inventor of the Mini ) and launched at the Earls Court Motor show London in 1948. The Morris Minor was conceived as a practical, economical and affordable car for the general public, one that the average person would take pleasure in owning and that would equal if not surpass the convenience and design quality of a much more expensive car. It was the first British car to sell a million vehicles with over 1.6 million being manufactured between 1948 and 1972.

Telescopic struts have been fitted to the boot to compensate for the extra weight of the boot rack. The electrics have been converted to negative earth and the addition of an alternator much improves charging and battery life.
The Car has been extensively restored in the past with very tidy paintwork good chrome and stainless steel sill covers, powder coated wheels and new tyres. The interior is a very comfortable place to be, the leather upholstery has all been renewed in a beautiful biscuit colour and the carpets are in a contrasting forest green.
