This little beauty has come back to us and is now up for sale again, the new owner adored her but sadly his wife didn't....
Designed by the legendary Alec Issigonis ( Inventor of the Mini ) and launched at the Earls Court Motor show London in 1948. The Morris Minor was conceived as a practical, economical and affordable car for the general public, one that the average person would take pleasure in owning and that would equal if not surpass the convenience and design quality of a much more expensive car. It was the first British car to sell a million vehicles with over 1.6 million being manufactured between 1948 and 1972.

History Report
Our particular Minor was first registered on 11th October 1961 and benefitted from the new upgraded (series v) 1,098 cc Engine, which produced 48 BHP.
A lovely entry-level classic presented in eye catching Pistachio Green, which comes complete with many extras, including a full width exterior sun visor and original chrome boot rack. The upgrades also include a 5-speed gearbox, very useful when out on a run. To aid driver and passenger safety, Seat belts, halogen headlights and servo assisted disc brakes have also been added. Telescopic struts have been fitted to the boot to compensate for the extra weight of the boot rack. The electrics have been converted to negative earth and the addition of an alternator much improves charging and battery life.
The Car has been extensively restored in the past with very tidy paintwork good chrome and stainless steel sill covers, powder coated wheels and new tyres. The interior is a very comfortable place to be, the leather upholstery has all been renewed in a beautiful biscuit colour and the carpets are in a contrasting forest green.
The cylinder head has been converted to run on unleaded petrol.
The car is a joy to drive and handles modern motoring conditions with ease.
Due to current social distancing rules like many we are now open but with new safety measures in place.
