WOW, what a find…

February 9, 2021
We often have lots of paper history that comes with our cars showing how they have been loved, treasured and enjoyed over the years..

This is a newspaper cutting from The Daily Telegraph November 16, 1988. The article remarks on one a Britains most loved small sports cars, the cheeky frogeye sprite being back in small scale production after almost 30 years.

They quoted "The frogeye, still spritely after all these years - and still with that familiar cheeky grin".... and even now in 2021, we could agree more!!

The registration book was first issued on 1st June 1960 and maintains a steady record of the licenses issued up to 1974!

In 1973, the owner was issued with a Motor Fuel Ration Book and all of the coupon are still unused.

We just love to look through all of the old papers and learn more about these beautiful little cars... If you have any history you would like too share, get in touch with us, we'd love to hear from you...
